Hair removal products for men
In these articles (se top menu), i will outline some of the science of body hair as a whole to help you understand and decide little more freely the best way to remove hair, as well as give some of the more safe options in hair removal products for men: depilatories, sprays or creams that you could (or should) use. All men have different types of body hair, some people have more wiry or curly hair, some people have thinner hair. I want to break down the scientific structures of hair a little bit so that you can weigh your options with these types of products based on the main factors involved.
Human hairs are typically made up of two separate structures-the follicle beneath the surface of the skin, and the shaft, which is the part we see. The follicle is where the hair stores a majority of the components that helps growth and is also considered a "problem area" in just about every type of hair removal. The "bulb" or "bulge" is located at the base of the follicle and is the living part of the hair. The main component of hair is keratin, a form of hard protein. Keratin is also found in fingernails and bones.
Body hair comes in two main types-vellus hair and terminal hair. Vellus hair, also referred to as "peach fuzz," is a very soft and short type of hair that grows on most parts of both the male and female human body. Vellus hairs generally do not grow more than 2 cm in length and are not attached to sebaceous glands, which are found in the skin of humans and other mammals. It is for this reason that in most people, men and women alike, vellus hair is probably best left alone, and can even be considered endearing by your mate. These hairs are best left alone in my opinion. Terminal hair, on the other hand, tends to be longer, darker, and coarser than vellus hair. During puberty the rising level of androgens causes a considerable portion of vellus hair to transform into terminal hair, most often in areas such as the under arms, genital areas, legs, and forearms.
So make sure your take your time when deciding what hair removal products will work best for you.
