Sugaring for men
Sugaring, also called 'Persian Waxing', is a hair removal method that has been used for many years and of course it can be used on both men and women. It involves the application of a sugary paste to the skin, much like waxing. A strip of paper or porous cloth is then pressed into the preparation after it has been applied to the skin. The strip is then pulled away very quickly, in the opposite direction of the hair growth, removing the hairs in one quick motion. One of the main benefits of sugaring is that it usually lasts for about three to six weeks and is an inexpensive form of hair removal that can easily be done at home, and with less cleanup than with waxing. Its downfall is that it can be a messy undertaking, however, and can cause hairs to break off below the skin's surface, which makes it less effective than waxing and can cause ingrown hairs or an infected follicle if not done properly.
